Fall 2020

GVA Family,

We miss you!  We hope all is well and that you are all safely navigating our new (and hopefully temporary) normal.
Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to operate a Fall Season this year.  GVA utilizes the GISD school gymnasiums for practices and as of today, they are still not allowing any after-school leases in any of their schools and have no idea if/when they will this calendar year.
Many people have asked why we don’t lease from other facilities and there are three reasons – 1) the local clubs are in their season right now and practice slots are not available, 2) GPRD facilities are not open for gym rentals that would meet our needs, and 3) we really want to do what is best for everyone involved and those who would potentially be negatively impacted by the spread of the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2.  While we know this is a hot-topic with many varying opinions, we are going to follow the direction of the GISD decision makers with their closures as we do with all other closures that fall within our normal league schedules.
As of right now, we plan to try again for the Spring 2021 season.
Those who want their registrations pushed into the Spring 2021 league do not need to do anything.  We will make the move in the Sports Pilot system.
Those who would like to be removed from our program/system and receive a refund need to send an email to with the following information:
  • Child’s name
  • Child’s grade
  • Parent’s name
  • Home address
  • Email address
  • Phone number

We would, again, like to thank all the players, parents, coaches, referees, and staff that have continued to be patient with us while we try to navigate our way through these uncharted waters and make the best decisions we can.
Stay safe and we can’t wait to see you back in the gym!

Coaches will contact you about your team assignment and practice information AFTER the Coaches’ Meeting on March 6th.
